Snes Cartridge Repair

I bought a lot of pretty rough looking snes games to play. All seem to work fine after cleaning except legend of the mystical ninja. almost of the contacts on one side are completely corroded off simply as it meets the traces. I've already cleaned information technology and tried conductive pen to reconnect the contacts, all looks practiced but still only getting a blackness screen. Is it fixable or is information technology a lost cause? I actually want to play this one.

One pick would be to gut the cart, and desolder the chips from the board. Then open up a cheapo game, and swap the fries from the cheapo with your own. That being said, you'd have to make sure the boards were the same type as there are probably a lot of variations in cart designs for the SNES.

I'll get a picture today. I cleaned off the conductive pin and tried information technology again and got some colored boxes but only some times. Is there a mode to expect upwardly the cart blazon of games? Thanks for the help.

Become a fiberglass pen and articulate off a little bit if pcb around the line where the contacts are corroded and then try the conductive pigment again. Also, that paint has an expiration, make sure it's not expired.

Mystical ninja lives!

Couldn't get more than a majestic screen with the conductive paint so I grabbed a really nice copy of nhlpa hockey for $0.88 and use my new desoldering fe to bandy'em out. Works beautifully, thanks for all the assist guys, love the game fifty-fifty more since I had to piece of work for information technology! Would the same matter work for n64 games? I have an ocarina of time with contacts broken completely off. Thanks again!

I'll have to bank check on getting a fiberglass pen, and I practise have a madden 93 and nhlpa in example that doesn't work. If I bandy the fries exercise I accept to swap both or just the bigger one? Once more thank you for all the assistance guys.

I used the conductive paint to connect the contacts to the traces and now accept continuity on all the contacts. Now instead of nothing I go a solid purple screen with no sound. I picked upwardly nhlpa hockey for $0.88 to swap the fries if I can't fix information technology an easier fashion. Any one see any thing wrong or know why I would go the purple screen?
